The Whistler weekend is over, and the first ever Campground C Country-Rock Festival was a blast. Thanks so much to everyone who made the trip up, and also to those who worked hard to make the event so successful.

The band is hitting the road this weekend and will play three nights at Cactus Annie's in Merritt, BC before traveling to Calgary, AB to play at the "T&C" for a week (July 31 to Aug 4). Also check out the new Campground "C" Festival page . This day-long event in beautiful Whistler, BC on August 25th featuring The Steel Toe Boots and 8 other great artists including Aaron Pritchett and Spirit of the West should not be missed! The S.T.B. are coming off one of the busiest weeks of their summer schedule, playing five straight nights. The guys had a blast playing their first weekend at Boone County (new videos from the show added), before rocking the Buffalo Club on Sunday night. The band has two more shows at Ceili's as part of "Wild West Wednesdays," featuring the weekly bikini contest, Calgary Stampede ticket giveaways (and of course the band plays too), so make sure you come downtown this Wednesday, or for the grand finale next week.

The 'Boots are looking forwared to an exciting week. On Thursday, they will be taking the stage at Roosters Country Cabaret for the very first time, opening up for the one and only, Ken McCoy. Friday, they make the trip up to Whistler to play all night at the Longhorn, hosted by Campground C with Byron James. Also, clubzone.com was out at our last Ceili's show taking some pics, check out what you're missing if you haven't been down on a Wednesday night yet.

The Steel Toe Boots are pleased to announce they are playing at Ceili's infamous industry night each Wednesday until the Calgary Stampede. Come on out for one of downtown Vancouver's hottest nights, with great specials all evening long, and rocking house music with Russel James after the show.

Our time off officially ended this past weekend up in Pender Harbour, where the Sunshine Coast community welcomed the 'Boots with open arms for the first show of the season. And what a party it was.
