The boys followed up a great three nights at Gabby's with the BC Country Music Awards. The band was again honoured to be nominated for Country Club Act of the Year as well as the Ray Macauley Horizon Award for emerging artist. Congrats to all the nominees and award winners on a great night. The 'Boots then kicked off the awards after-party with a set of their own before relinquishing the stage to Chad Brownlee and his crew (Chad had a huge night taking home five awards, a huge congrats out to him). The next gig for the 'Boots is the epic New Years Eve weekend at Gabby's country cabaret. Come one, come all!!

The Boots are looking forward to coming back to the Calgary area again this Saturday night (Oct 15) for a speical breast cancer charity event in Okotoks, AB. This event was a huge success last year and this year should be even bigger and raise even more money!

The Boys performed at the Rockin' Riverfest yesterday and what a great event! This festival just keeps getting bigger and better every year. Travis Tritt headlining tonight and still time to get tickets.
This coming Friday the Boots are performing at a great outdoor venue in North Vancouver, Panorama Park at Deep Cove, right at the water's edge. See you there!

The Boots are excited to be into the festival season after sharing the stage with Bobbi Smith at Lynn Valley Day this past weekend. The guys are gearing up for a primetime Thursday night Beer Gardens slot during the epic return of The Merritt Mountain Music Festival, after Joe Nichols shuts down the main stage. Other artists at Merritt include Vince Gill, Dierks Bentley and our friends Aaron Pritchett, Bobbi Smith, AJ Woodworth, Damian Marshall, and BCCMA Female Vocalist of the year Emily Taylor Adams.
The boys are also excited about playing some outdoor shows in their hometown of North Vancouver as part of the North Shore Concert Series. The boys will be on the Lynn Valley Plaza on July 15, and again performing in one of the most stunning settings at Panorama Park in Deep Cove on August 19. See you this summer!

After a short break, The Boots filled in last-minute at Gabby's this past weekend and had a fantastic time as always. Friday was rocking after the Nucks pulled off a big playoff win. The boys have a bunch of exciting summer festival announcements to make in the next few weeks, and are back in action the first weekend of May at Roosters.

Happy New Year to everyone from all the guys. 2010 was another great year for the band and this year promises to be even more exciting. The boys are looking forward to starting off the year in Calgary at Ranchman's (Jan 13-15). See you on the road in 2011!

The Boots are coming off an incredible weekend with Dave Borys performing at the BCCMA Awards in Vancouver, and Dave Hartney travelling across the Rockies to Okotoks, AB to perform at a breast cancer fundraiser. This is the first time the boys have split up, allowing The Boots to cover two great events at once. The Boots are proud to announce they have received two award nominations from the BC Country Music Association (BCCMA), for Country Club Act of the Year and the Ray McAuley Horizon Award (New Artist). With past winners of the Ray McAuley Award including Aaron Pritchett, Ridley Bent, and Jessie Farrell (to name just a few), the nomination itself is a great honor for the band. The 2010 BCCMA Awards will be held October 17 at the Red Robinson Show Theatre. Tickets for the award show are available at ticketmaster. |
