The Boots are looking forward to another great weekend at Roosters August 25 - 28, and are pleased to announce a return to Calgary to play Ranchman's September 9 - 11.

The Boots have been the featured artist proflie on CMT.ca this week. A recent radio interview with Country 93 in Owen Sound, ON has just been posted on the press page, as well as a video of the band's performance of "When a Cowboy" on Shaw TV's Urban Rush, earlier this month. The boys at Roosters Wed-Sat this week, so come down and join the party.

Between sets at the rowdy Norwood Barn Dance event in Courtenay, the Boots got the call that they will be coming back to the Island on September 25th to open up for Travis Tritt at the Cowichan Exhibition Grounds in Duncan, BC!

The boys are coming to the Island this weekend for the Norwood Barn Dance in Courtenay. Pictures from previous years look like this will be a rediculous party. To all those attending this event, The Boots are looking forward to making this an evening to remember, or at least parts of it!

Country 100 in Moose Jaw, SK is airing an interview with the guys and playing a few tunes from "Cross The Line" at 8:30am and again at 8:30pm (Saskatchewan time) Today! You can stream it at country100fm.com. The same feature was aired yesterday in Weyburn, Sk - fitting for a town that has a Hartney Ave. Seriously, google it. If you miss it live, it will be available to check out under "Radio Features" on the press page right after the show.

The boys closed out two weeks of hard playing in style with an epic send off for bassist Garett Vergides, who has decided to leave the band. Please check out our blog for a write up on Garett's big night, as it is definitly with heavy hearts in the S.T.B. family that this news is announced. The past week was also the first performance at the Cloverdale Rodeo for the Boots and the crowds were great both shows on Friday and Saturday.

The boys had another great weekend at Roosters and are right back at it this week for what should be an epic weekend at Gabby's during Rodeo Weekend. The guys will also be playing at the Cloverdale Rodeo on Friday at 6:00 pm and Saturday at 3:30 pm.

The past few weeks have been a blur with the band performing on Urban Rush (click to see the performance), and at the BCCMA Industry Awards. Curtis Pope, winner of the 2009 BCCMA award for On-Air Personality of the Year in the Lower Mainland, introduced the band by announcing that Country 107 has just added "Coming Back For You" to its playlist. The Band is excited to announce the release of their first single to radio. "Coming Back For You," a driving tune about the frailties and rewards of long distance relationships, has been picked up by stations across the country. You can help out by requesting the song at your local station!
The boys are also looking forward to be heading back to Merritt for the first time since this summer's Mountainfest to play Oct 16 & 17 at Cactus Annie's. Next week, the Band will be appearing on Shaw Television's Urban Rush, a Vancouver staple!

The Dave's had a blast at Country Music Week 2009 as part of the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) awards weekend in Vancouver, and were honoured to perform in the Songwriters Cafe.

It was an unbelievable weekend up in Merritt with the Boots closing down the beer gardens on Thursday night. Earlier in the day, the boys did an interview and live acoustic performance of "Dream Tonight" on JRFM's on-site radio feed. The band was also featured in a great article in the North Shore News.
